Access Violation 7C919AF2

Postby Chuparosa » Mon May 09, 2011 12:02 pm

My PC Tuneup 2011 had been working perfectly for several months. I went away for a week and when I came home and turned on my computer, I started getting popup messages with the Access Violation listed above. I have already tried to fix it by running PC Tuneup and by uninstalling the software. The access violation prevents the Tuneup program from running, and I can't uninstall because it says there is an instance of the program running. The recommended fix for this (tray icon exit) does not work. I get another error message. I'm flummoxed. What do you suggest?

Thanks,

Try CTRL-ALT-DEL and run the Task Manager. Then click on the Processes tab and see if the process can be ended there.

Thanks for your response. That seemed to work.
Gratefully,
